Showtime Cinemas takes its responsibilities to protect children from seeing films that are not suitable for their age group very seriously. Every film that we show will have been classified by the Film Classifications Office.  IFCO's approach to classifying cinema films  guided by three main principles:

• The belief that adults (i.e. persons over 18) should be free, within the law, to choose what they wish to view
• That we have a duty to protect children and young persons from harm
• That we strongly encourage and promote the exercise of parental responsibility
